On Friday 28th November, Magheramorne Estate invites you to enjoy Under the Mistletoe – a magical Christmas trail for adults who are young at heart! Whether you bring a date or bring your mates, enjoy an evening of festive fun with surprises around every corner or extend the magic with a romantic overnight stay in our elegant manor house.
Walking in a winter wonderland
Wander hand in hand through twinkling woodland paths, snap a selfie with our Christmas characters, pause to toast marshmallows over the fire, explore North Pole village, and meet our friendly animals in Ballylig Barn. Don’t forget to pay a visit to Father Christmas and his elves to find out if you’re on the Nice List! With mouth-watering food and seasonal tipples (non-alcoholic options available) included, Under the Mistletoe is the perfect way to celebrate the season together.

To help you get in the festive spirit, you can enjoy indulgent Bailey’s hot chocolate, a warming mulled wine, and our sparkling Santa Spritz. For the non-drinkers and designated drivers, we will have delicious alcohol-free alternatives.

Please note:
- If you are placed in a queue due to high demand, please do not leave the screen /refresh the page or put your device into lock or sleep mode.
- Once it is your turn, you will have 15 minutes to complete the booking.
- If you have not received a confirmation email from Magheramorne Estate your booking is not complete. Be sure to check junk and spam folders.
- The trail is accessible for all-terrain wheelchairs.
- Please contact us directly if you have any specific access requirements.
- Animals are not permitted, with the exception of guide, assistance and hearing dogs.
Enjoy a magical Christmas getaway
Turn your festive evening into a getaway with an overnight stay in our elegant Victorian manor house.
Arrive from 5pm and settle in by the fire before stepping out for the Under the Mistletoe trail at 7pm. Afterwards, return to the warmth of the conservatory or relax with drinks in our drawing rooms, before retiring to one of our beautifully appointed bedrooms. Choose from our Master Suite, Superior or Deluxe bedrooms, each designed to make your stay as comfortable as it is memorable. In the morning, enjoy a freshly prepared estate breakfast and a leisurely late check-out at noon. It’s the perfect way to experience more of Magheramorne and make your Christmas celebration truly unforgettable.
Your getaway rate includes bed & breakfast plus admission for two to the Under The Mistletoe experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Under The Mistletoe is a strictly over 18s experience for couples and friends to enjoy a memorable Christmas experience. With alcoholic beverages available, these sessions are not suitable for children and none will be admitted.
As ‘Under The Mistletoe’ at Magheramorne Estate is an outdoor trail, if the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, any decision to postpone or cancel the trail will be taken by 1pm on the day of the trail. You will be notified by email and text message, and you will be informed of the re-booking process. This will be sent to the email address and mobile number given in the booking form. Please ‘OPT-IN’ to receive SMS messages when booking. We advise you to check your inbox (please also check junk/spam folders) and mobile phone for the latest updates before you travel.
No refunds will be offered simply if the weather is inclement. If you have not heard from our customer service team regarding a postponement/cancellation, the event will go ahead as scheduled.
All tickets are strictly non-refundable.
In some areas the lighting will be low level as this is part of the experience. The trail path is not covered but areas where the characters are based will have shelter. We remind visitors that this is an outdoor trail and weather may be inclement. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.
Only recognised guide, assistance or service dogs are welcome to the trail at Magheramorne Estate. Please make sure dogs are wearing their designated jacket or lead slip.
There will be toilet facilities at the beginning and end (in the main house), and also halfway around the trail (mobile toilet block). Disabled toilet facilities are only available in the main house.
A photo with Santa is not included in the trail. However, you are very welcome to take your own photos and Santa’s Elf will assist you with this if required.
It will take approximately 60-90 mins to walk the trail and have your après trail hot food.
The trail takes place outdoors and the weather may be inclement. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for winter weather. The trail route is on gravel paths, and there are several slopes, inclines and steps throughout the trail, therefore, footwear with good grip is recommended.
All food and drinks are included in your ticket price.
You will receive a marshmallow to toast, a homemade mince pie, an après trail Shorthorn burger, chips, tea/coffee and a Cadbury sweet. You will also receive three drinks on the trail, with alcoholic or non-alcoholic options available.
Please note alternatives can be provided for anyone with specific dietary requirements. Remember to complete the dietary requirements box when purchasing tickets.
Limited parking is available on-site for the event and we would encourage car sharing where possible. When you arrive at Magheramorne Estate our car park staff will direct you to a designated parking space. Please respect our car park staff as they endeavour to park all visitors safely and efficiently.
During busy times, you may be required to wait to be parked. We ask for your patience if this occurs.
Drive slowly and be aware of pedestrians in the car park!
