Join author Stephen Walker and Lady Trimble for a unique evening of conversation to mark the publication of ‘David Trimble: Peacemaker’.

As Ulster Unionist Party leader, David Trimble was First Minister and a Nobel Laureate. He negotiated the Good Friday Agreement in 1998 and helped to secure peace in Northern Ireland. He later sat in the House of Lords as Lord Trimble.

In a special evening, his widow Lady Trimble and author Stephen Walker will discuss his life and legacy.

This is a rare opportunity to hear first hand about the life of one of the most important figures in British and Irish history.

Written with the cooperation of the Trimble family, ‘David Trimble; Peacemaker’, published by Gill Books, is based on 100 new interviews.
