Enjoy a guided walk through the grounds of Magheramorne Estate, followed by an intimate conversation centred on three compelling new books, each rooted in place, history and landscape.
After a short walk around the estate’s 42 acres, guests will gather inside Magheramorne House for a discussion with local historian David Hume, photographer Sheena Jolley, and acclaimed writer Paul Clements.
David Hume will discuss his new book ‘ Historic Days in East Antrim’, Sheena Jolley will talk about her book ‘ On Land and Water ‘ and author Paul Clements will chat about his time at the Montalto Estate which he has chronicled in his new book ‘A Year In The Woods’.

Together, these three books offer distinct but complementary perspectives on place, memory and belonging. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from their authors and to deepen your understanding of the landscapes and histories that inspire their work.
Make the most of your Magheramorne Literary Festival experience by staying overnight at the estate. Designed for two people, our overnight stays include our iconic Estate Breakfast and day or weekend festival passes, allowing you to enjoy the programme at an unhurried pace.
