If you work with a charity or are planning a fundraising event, read on to find out how Magheramorne Estate can support your cause and bring fresh new fundraising opportunities to the table.
At Magheramorne Estate, we work as a trusted extension of your team, delivering a seamless, considered experience for you and your guests. As part of our charity collaborations we offer:
There are so many thoughtful and memorable ways to bring people together for a cause at Magheramorne Estate. Whether you’re planning something elegant, energetic or deeply personal to your organisation, our spaces and our team can help you shape an experience that feels special.
A charity afternoon tea is a beautiful way to welcome supporters into the estate. Served in the Conservatory or the Ballroom, guests enjoy tiers of sweet treats, savoury bites and homemade favourites. Warm, relaxed and full of conversation, it’s a lovely setting to raise funds in an elegant way.
For something a little more formal, a fundraising lunch brings people together over a seasonal three-course menu served in the Conservatory or the Ballroom. Whether you choose to combine lunch with a presentation of awards, raffle, guest speaker or other element, a lunch at Magheramorne is a memorable backdrop for sharing stories and celebrating your charity’s work.
If you’re planning something bigger, our Ballroom is made for memorable evenings. Begin with a drinks reception before guests take their seats for an exquisite four-course menu, prepared by Jane’s Kitchen. With over 38 years of experience, the team are known for their creativity and attention to detail, ensuring food that feels generous, comforting and unforgettable. Punctuate courses with awards or speakers, or extend the evening with a band or DJ.
For fundraisers who want a high energy event, a party night is a brilliant way to bring people together. Think live music, dancing, and casual bowl-style dining that keeps the atmosphere relaxed and sociable. It’s ideal for organisations who want to create a real sense of celebration around their cause.
We recently welcomed an Action Cancer fundraiser who transformed the Ballroom into a joyful 70s-inspired celebration, complete with live music from Johnny Hero’s Glam Slam Band. With the help of friends, family and supporters, she raised an amazing £11,500 for breast cancer services across Northern Ireland.
“This is my second time to use Magheramorne Estate for a function and it is a wonderful venue. The house, the gardens, the food, but most of all the staff make for a perfect event. Everyone worked together to bring the ideas together in an easy, relaxed manner. Thank you… until next time!”
— Anne-Marie, Action Cancer Fundraiser
Earlier this year, the RNLI Larne Fundraising Branch marked a major milestone with their 200th Anniversary Ball at the estate. It was an evening filled with pride and community spirit, and together their supporters raised over £14,000 for lifesaving work along our coastline. We were honoured to be part of such an important celebration.
“In celebration of the RNLI’s 200th birthday in 2024, we held a Black Tie Gala Ball at Magheramorne Estate. It was the encouragement and support from Jane and her staff that made the event so successful. The venue is stunning & the grounds beautiful – generous enough for a large party, yet intimate & cosy. Excellent audio visual facilities, very professional, helpful staff & delicious food effortlessly served.”
— Pamela McAuley, RNLI Larne Branch
