The minute you step inside Magheramorne, our Victorian manor house becomes your home. You and your guests are greeted with the warmest of welcomes as soft candlelight glows and roaring log fires defrost cold hands.

This is the place it all comes together. Our beautiful rooms set the scene for a wonderful (and convenient!) day with no need for travel and plenty of time to relax with loved ones. Each space connects seamlessly and is completely customisable, allowing your day to unfold naturally, whether you are planning something intimate or a larger celebration.

But outside need not be out of bounds! Winter brings something to our 42 acres of gardens and woodlands that you don’t get at any other time of year.

Step outside and experience magical frosty scenes lit by fairy lights and Victorian lampposts, surrounded by beautiful ancient trees. Bundle up and take a romantic walk together, allowing your photographer to capture unforgettable images that capture the atmosphere of the season.

A little extra, with love from us

Practically, winter also brings a little more breathing room. Dates tend to offer better value, along with more flexibility and choice when it comes to suppliers.

For couples choosing a winter date between 5 January and 28 February, we’re offering some little extras to help shape your day worth £3,500.

Dining to warm the heart

Our expert Jane’s Kitchen team are renowned for seasonal dishes delivered with creativity and care. Our dedicated in-house team will work with you to create a wedding menu to warm, comfort and delight yours guests, featuring local produce and unforgettable flavours.

To start, choose from hearty soups such as County Antrim potato with chorizo crumb or cream of root vegetable with cracked black pepper croutons. Perhaps you would prefer to enjoy our homemade chicken liver parfait with seasonal fruit chutney and toasted brioche, or pickled ginger and smoked duck bon bons with plum and juniper jam?

When it comes to the main event, how about our Irish Hereford Prime sirloin served with a miniature slow cooked cottage pie topped with truffle potatoes? Or try an elevated family favourite, with traditional turkey, honeyed roast gammon and parsley and shallot homemade stuffing?

For dessert, think classic winter flavours with a twist. Try our luxury chocolate brownie, served with Glastry Farm honeycomb ice cream and warm chocolate sauce, or indulge in Armagh apple and cinnamon crumble with iced double cream, mini cherry apples and crème anglaise. Perhaps you’d prefer sticky toffee pudding, warm toffee sauce, iced rum and raisin with hazelnut praline? Whatever your choice, unadulterated indulgence is the goal.
